3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and fold size which means it’s lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.
In our push and turn test it performed better than many of the other strollers that we tried, but it’s not the easiest to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doorways. The sunshades on it were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top, and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopies.
It took us just under three minutes to put together the Delta using a standard manual. All of the components required tools. However, it is missing some critical features that we believe you should not compromise on for a double stroller such as an extra-large basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair and is marketed as an urban travel system. The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. Despite this being quite a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps well and went through doorways without any fuss.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction, or they can swivel. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, although it seemed to be a bit bumpier.

Baby Jogger is a household name for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to fold and fits into the trunk of a car even with the carrycot attached.
It weighs more than other strollers we test, but since it has composite wheels made of rubber, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains, and even with two kids with shopping bags and other items.
Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be lowered to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers’ faces.
