The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that has a variety of features for its size. The back basket under the seat is spring loaded, which means you can lower it to stuff bags for diapers or backpacks in, and it will open up to protect the contents. It also comes with a tray for accessories for children as well as an adjustable reclining seat back pad, which are more options than what you usually find on a lightweight stroller.

It also comes with a canopy that can be closed and opened to get the level of sun protection you want. The handlebars can be adjusted in height to allow for a comfortable fit four different positions. However, we weren’t thrilled by the ride quality over rough terrain. We felt the wheels and suspension didn’t perform a great job of absorbing bumps and shocks.

This is a great choice for those looking for a lightweight travel stroller. It has all of the features parents are looking for in a stroller. It comes with all-terrain tires and front suspension to ensure smooth riding. It’s also very light and weighs less than 12 pounds. And it has a convenient one-hand and self-standing fold. It has two cup holders on each tray for the parent and child.

Its build quality, however it is a bit at the lower end and it didn’t perform well in our maneuverability tests. It also has a flexible frame that makes pushing it over rough terrain feel like lifting a large weight. It might be okay if you only use the stroller on paved sidewalks. However, for most people, it’s not ideal.

The Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy and a peek-a-boo window to provide additional sun protection. The multi-position seat can be used by children up to 50 pounds and uses a five-point safety restraint. This is a great feature for older toddlers who have outgrown infant car seats.

It’s compact and folds down in one step. It can be collapsed by pressing the button. It also comes with a convenient foot-activated break that is easy to install and release.

However, the handle is a bit lower than many of the other strollers we looked at and some parents might feel uncomfortable for long durations. It does have the ability to lock the handle to keep it in place while open however. This is a good feature to have if you are going to be using the stroller on uneven or gravelly terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the ideal stroller for parents who are always on the move. This compact stroller is easy to fold down and up and easily fits in overhead compartments on planes and in trunks at the amusement park (no more worrying about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for convenient storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter right from birth and provides good sun protection thanks to its canopy. The only drawback is that some parents find the style to be uninspiring and cheap.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a little more expensive than other lightweight single strollers however, it was created specifically for luxury travel and urban living. It’s among the smallest strollers that fold (and includes a convenient carry case), and it offers plenty of storage, including cups holder. The seat reclines nearly flat for both child and adult. This is the only stroller in our list that has a car seat adapter to allow it to be used with babies. Some parents with short legs may not appreciate the handlebar that isn’t adjustable.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn’t the lightest stroller on our list, but it comes with a ton of wonderful features that make traveling with kids easier. The spacious seat reclines to a pretty flat position, and has extra padding so that those airplane naps last longer. The canopy that extends can provide good sun protection, and the parent tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also features a spring-loaded footrest that doubles as a handle when folded. The footrest, however, appears to be prone to damage from baggage handlers.

Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller that is stylish and has a top-quality design and high-end. Its compact size allows it to easily navigate narrow streets and tight spaces, but its robust construction ensures it can handle rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspension creates an incredibly comfortable ride for both of you, while its durable materials mean that it will hold up to the wear and tear of everyday life without losing its shape. Furthermore it can be extended to accommodate other accessories such as an infant car seat.

Even with a baby on the way, the Minu was a breeze to fold and move around. Its squat almost square fold which folds in thirds, is one of the most simple folds we’ve seen and allows it to easily be tucked away in overhead compartments of planes or public transportation. It comes with a single Stroller-action color-coded brake that is easy to use.

The seat reclines in a variety of positions, and the leg rest can be adjusted with one hand, making it easy to find your child’s ideal position. The UPF 50+ hood slid down quite a ways, which was great for protecting Cora’s eyes from sun (though not as low as some other strollers). The medium-sized mesh window is magnetically attached to the canopy, and it closes without the need for noisy Velcro.

Joovy is the well-known brand of strollers offers various models. This light model is a good choice for parents who are looking for a workhorse stroller that carts children around, provides ample storage, is fairly easy to move around and doesn’t require a high engineering degree to fold. It’s not the ideal choice when you’re looking for a car seat-compatible model, or a double stroller, though. It won’t work with infant car seats, and your babies must be able to sit up on their own before they can use this stroller from day one.

This stroller comes with some great features, and it comes with a hefty price. It scored a higher rating in our review of maneuverability than other strollers with similar specs, and is a great option for smooth pavements. It also has a lovely canopy and plenty of storage including a large parent tray. The handlebar is shorter than the average, and the front wheel suspension is a bit stiffer, but it is still comfortable for adults.

If you have twins, or two children of different ages you may find a side by side stroller to be the best choice for them to travel in. Our top pick is the Joovy Twin Groove, which comes with a wide range of features and a small footprint that can fit in places that other side-by-side options can’t.
